WORT airs a variety of news and public affairs programming, including morning, midday, and evening shows staffed entirely by volunteers from the community, as well as excellent syndicated programs that bring national and international news and analysis to the airwaves.
The weekday news schedule includes an hour-long locally produced morning show, a midday call-in and news block, and an evening news and public affairs block. WORT also airs several news and public affairs shows on Sunday.
